Good to know

It’s easy to overlook calories from drinks because they’re not as filling as food: a glass of orange juice has about as much sugar as two oranges, but none of their fiber. In alcohol, most calories come from the alcohol itself, which is why vodka has plenty of calories despite having no sugar. Water, black coffee, and plain tea have virtually no calories.
