Good to know
Fresh fruit is mostly water, so it usually has few calories per 100 g. Dried fruit has had its water removed, so the same weight contains several times more calories and sugars—a handful of dried fruit can easily go unnoticed in your daily totals. Avocado is an exception among fresh fruit, as its calories come from fat.
